Unity Week

We are excited to share with you that our school community will be celebrating Unity Day on October 21st. Unity Day is an annual event occurring during National Bullying Prevention Month in October that promotes coming together to create healthier communities through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. It is celebrated around the world!

We will be celebrating all week here at Hermon Middle School with daily announcements, dress-up days, and a variety of activities that promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

*** On Wednesday, October 21st, the official date for Unity Day, we would like to invite you all to join us in wearing orange to send a visible message of support, hope, inclusion, and kindness, and to show that no child should ever experience bullying. We look forward to seeing a show of orange at our school and in our greater Hermon community! ***

For HMS students, the dress-up days for the entire week of October 19th are posted below.

Lastly, we hope you will take an opportunity this week to talk with your children about bullying prevention and all the positive things we can do to make healthier communities. Let's go Hawks! Setting the standard, Being the example!
