HERMON HIGH SCHOOL FALL 2020

ATHLETICS SPECTATOR GUIDELINES

Like all groups sponsoring events in Maine, Hermon High School and Hermon Middle School are required to follow the Governor’s executive order limiting attendance at outdoor gatherings to 100 people in total. All athletes, coaches, officials, and other game personnel from both teams are included in this total.   Additional State, MPA and conference guidelines may also need to be followed.

Hermon High School and Middle School Plan Fall 2020

  • All High School and Middle School games will be played at Hermon High School.  

  • Each varsity team member of the graduating class of 2021 (senior) will be allowed to have two family members in attendance for their team's home games.

  • Each Middle School Team 8th grade team member will be allowed to have two family members in attendance for their teams home games.  

  • Senior family members and 8th grade family members in attendance will be required to social distance from others in the bleachers.

  • Senior family members and 8th grade family members will be required to wear a mask at all times while in attendance at a game.  

  • There will be no other spectators allowed - only the two class of 2021 family members at high school games and the two 8th grade family members at Middle School Games. 

  • Standing along  the fence for home games will not be allowed.

  • Sitting in vehicles at the fence to watch games will not be allowed.

  • There will be no concessions or selling of Hermon gear allowed at games. 

  • Spectators will be allowed at home golf events but must maintain proper social distancing with all team members.  

  • Parents must park in the parking lot by the gym and remain in their vehicle if they are picking up their student athlete following a contest.  The front parking lot of the school will be blocked off from parking. 

  • All Home Varsity Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, and Field Hockey games will be live streamed on WHOU this fall. 

  • All Sub Varsity and Middle School games will be broadcast on YouTube or some other streaming service.  This is a work in progress.

  • There will be no visiting fans allowed at any PVC School this fall.
